Innovating to solve local problems
Anzisha believes in the power of accelerating youth entrepreneurship by influencing key stakeholders (parents, educators, investors, and policymakers) to invest in young entrepreneurs. To achieve this, partnerships and communities are vital to building a sustainable movement that positions entrepreneurship as a first-choice career path.
The FAST Program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, supports recent university graduates who are beginning their entrepreneurial journey. It provides them with the tools and resources they need to build and grow their businesses.
Participants receive access to funding, customized business development training, opportunities for personal leadership growth, and a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors.
Building on this foundation, the Idea and Build programs offer participants essential business development modules, seed funding, and the chance to turn their ideas into viable enterprises. These programs focus on achieving measurable outcomes such as job creation, increased sales, and lasting social and economic impact.

Anzisha | The Journey - Episode 10: From Pitch To Celebration
In the thrilling conclusion to their two-year journey, the Anzisha Fellows step onto the big stage in Johannesburg ready to pitch not just for a grand prize, but for the recognition, relationships, and opportunities that could define their futures. From crowded rehearsal rooms to the electric tension of the judging panel, we see their ideas sharpen, their confidence tested, and their voices rise with purpose. Each story is a reminder that entrepreneurship isn’t a backup plan; it’s a bold, deliberate choice to create the future you believe in. And when the final pitch is done, the stage transforms into a place of celebration of resilience, of impact, and of the young African leaders rewriting what’s possible.
